The author is just trying to present his own life in this story. It was even more fun because it was short, so I read it no problemo. In the end, he gets together with his girlfriend, reunites with his family and friend, David, and leaves a happily-ever-after. He uses those powers to change the world, defeat God (who was evil in the book) and bring the real God into power. Eventually, he discovers super powers which is what the aliens were after. Thinking it was a dream at first, he sees actual wounds on his body from the aliens experimenting on him. Reapers Creek is about 11-year old Daniel who is being abducted from his home by aliens. From my point of view, it was worth the read. I got this book interested in why it has such poor ratings.
